To make the center the star of the show, I embroidered lots of stripes and sparkles.
The angel on the koi is a piece of French antique fabric, surrounded by a vintage hand-dyed piece of cotton and embroidered with various stitches.
The backside is a piece of off-white cotton with a little flower appliqued on it.
