Two 19th Century sterling Silver Thimbles with Original Jewellers Presentation Box’s
The first slightly smaller thimble has full hallmark for Sterling Silver Charles Harris London 1890
It has an ornate engraved detail around the opening
In Excellent near mint condition with no Damage
The second thimble is slightly larger it is engraved around the opening with
MADE IN ENGLAND SPA .HG&S STERLING SILVER 16
This thimble would have been a real seamstress piece it has 5 small holes in the top for moisture to escape enabling the wearer to work for a longer periods of time
The body is engraved with a lovely symmetrical pattern
In Excellent condition with only light wear commensurate of use
The Antique thimble Holder Box’s are both from the same jeweller
Made from cardboard and covered in a beige coloured paper
The interior features a velvet covered thimble holder
The top is embossed with the Jewellers name as follows
