Description

Designed and handmade in France this attractive hand embroidered linen cushion cover dates from the 1920s/30s.

It is an unfinished oval cushion cover featuring a Regency or Georgian period inspired design. The elegant 18th century pattern centres around a courting couple in the garden of a French chateau. The design is surrounded by lattice work and trailing roses.

Measures:

Finished cushion will measure:
17" x 25" - 43.2cm x 63.5cm

Fabric rectangle measures:
18" x 27.4" - 45.5cm x 70cm

Condition:
In excellent useable condition, ready for someone to finish the embroidery and sew it onto a cushion backing.
