Rare find!!! Retro telephone from the USSR of the 1950s. BAGTA-50 MRTR Vintage black Bakelite rotary telephone. Old soviet phone.
Heavy bakelite legendary desk phone "BAGTA-50" MRTP - USSR, 1955, in good vintage condition, not tested for performance.
A real find for a real collector!
Produced in the Soviet Union, at the Riga State Electrotechnical Plant "VEF" (VEF, Valsts Elektrotehnisku0101 Fabrika), then still the Latvian SSR, in the period from 1950-1965. It was the most massive post-war device used in offices and apartments.
Externally, the device looks very impressive and entourage. The desktop telephone apparatus "Bagta-50" consists of a handset and a housing, inside of which there are ringing devices, a switching device, additional elements and nodes associated with the operation of the device and its circuit. The bodies of the tube and apparatus are made of black carbolite, and the base is made of sheet steel and is covered with durable mechanical varnish to match the color of the apparatus; The detachable base plate of the machine has four rubber feet to prevent damage to the supporting surface. Inside the device, on the base board, there is a wiring diagram for the operation of the device. All the electronic stuffing of the native assembly, the body of the handset and the device itself are intact. Unusually successfully fits into any interior, always attracts the views of others, of course, is of collectible interest.
