Description

This Gents umbrella with its wooden shaft has a sterling silver gilt handle that has been upcycled from a piece of antique cutlery. In a previous life the handle was part of a carving set. It has been reclaimed, reworked, gold plated and joined together with a new umbrella to create a wonderful gift that would sit well in any umbrella stand. In fact, it will stand out and really make a statement of the owner's style, class, and status. The handle is hallmarked for Sheffield, England and is circa 1860. The maker's mark is RM EH ( Richard Martin & Ebenezer Hall - Martin, Hall & Co ). There is a scrolled monogram which looks like "JME."

These London made umbrellas are made by a company with over 200 years experience and only the best fabrics are used.

The range of polycotton colours is slowly coming to an end as the fabric importer no longer supplies this product. So as the stock diminishes they wont be replaced. Sorry about that. We will therefore be moving over to polyester sometime in the future where we will aim to offer all the most popular colours.

Canopies currently available:
Polycotton ( 65% Polyester & 35% Cotton ). Brown, Burgundy, Ivory Cream, Racing Green, and Holly Dark Green.
Polyester ( 100% Polyester). Black, Dark Blue, Charcoal, and Sand.

If you would like to see this umbrella handle with a particular colour canopy before making a purchase then please send me a convo and I'll forward a photo for your approval.
