Description

This Tapestry Kit from PippinKits uses simple canvas work techniques to create a beautiful geometric design which is so eye-catching when finished. I have loved designing this Needlepoint Cushion in blues with splashes of red and pink and am very excited ud83dude06 to share it with you. The Appletons wool included in all my kits is British from sheep to needle ? it comes from the Yorkshire wool markets and is also dyed and spun in Yorkshire. Appletons prides itself on the quality and consistency of the wool it produces. It was founded in 1835 by Thomas Appleton and has a long history that includes being used by the famous 19th century designer William Morris.

Perhaps it would make a lovely gift for friends or family or you could just be indulgent and buy it for yourself. Either way someone is going to experience some proper thread therapy.

I hope you agree that this Canvas Work Cushion is a really pretty item. Itu2019s such fun to do and itu2019s lovely to end up with something really useful too.

All the necessary wool and materials are included in each PippinKits Tapestry Cushion Kit along with detailedu00a0instructions. The design is not printed on the canvas but created by counting the stitches. It works up pretty quickly as most of the stitches are longer than conventional needlepoint tent stitch.

When finished the design measures approximately 14` x 14` (35cm x 35cm).

All you need to find at home to complete the project areu00a0some scissors and a 14` cushion pad - then you're good to go!u00a0
