DescriptionPear tree wood and hand-painted cotton fan, 23cms. I use top quality acrylic paints, and includes a bag, ideal for hot days, to give as a gift, or to decorate.
Ecological product, in my shipments I use recycled paper, contributing to the planting of trees
Instead of a canvas, other supports can be used, I have found in the fan an artistic support in which to capture brushstrokes of color.
It all started, on a hot summer afternoon in Madrid, I was in my studio thinking about an idea, since I was in of creating the gift for my brother's wedding, there was only one premise "the colors"', the gift should include colors in the range of pinks to purples.
So, I started to paint fans, hoping to have everyone's approval and that's how it was, so much so that even after the wedding I continued painting them.
I named them "Abanicos Mariolo's" in honor of my sister and my niece.
This is how the famous Mariolo's Fans arose and since then I have not stopped painting them,
For friends, weddings, business gifts, exhibitions. etc
