19th century Girodon brass heater belonging to the mother of Abbu00e9 Deschamps (Auxerre), AJA soccer.
Antique small portable brass heater with embossed decoration, Girodon et Cie Villeurbanne Lyon, patented SGDG STOKER, Victorian style, 19th century, beautiful patina, no missing parts.
A document inside states that "this heater belonged to Aline Ismu00e9nu00e9e Trollu00e9 - mother of Abbu00e9 Deschamps and my grandfather Georges".
Ernest-Thu00e9odore Valentin Deschamps, known as Abbu00e9 Deschamps, was born on April 1, 1868 in Villiers-sur-Tholon and died on December 1, 1949. He was a French prelate and founder of the Auxerre youth association known for its soccer club, AJ Auxerre. The Auxerre soccer stadium bears his name.
