Description

A handwoven bamboo basket used as an ikebana vessel. The basket was constructed using different sizes of bamboo plaiting intercepted with irregular plaiting which creates this dramatic and unusual effects. The basket features a delicate loop handle and a very fine rope design. It is cleanly and robustly woven and embed with a lovely aged patina. Excellent antique condition.
