Description

It's amazing large quilted textile wall hanging based on the old Japanese ukiyo-e etchings.
Made by Ukrainian artist

The traditional story in this large art quilt: a geisha, a beautiful kimono, a roaster and a scroll with hieroglyphs on the wall.
The hieroglyphs mean "HAPPINESS", "LOVE" and "WEALTH."
Also there are a lot of poppies in the picture: at the border, in the hair of a Geisha and in quilted background. Poppies are symbols of joy and success.
Part of border is quilted in traditional SACHIKO technique.
This OOAK art quilt brings to the room atmosphere of peace and comfort.
