DescriptionA complete set of three late Victorian shirt studs, all constructed in 15ct gold and topped with a polished cabochon banded agate of u2018Bulls-Eyeu2019 stone. Each of the stones have been perfectly matched so the banding is consistent on all three pieces ? Iu2019m sure it wasnu2019t an easy task.
The original red leather tooled case has a plush and silk interior and is by ? Longman Late Strongitharm, who were engravers to the Queen, they often produced seals and Essex Crystal.
Period: Victorian (1837 ? 1901)
Hallmarks: None present, but professionally tested as 15ct gold.
Dimensions: diameter 10mm, 2 have a depth of 9.2mm, and the other 9.5mm.
Total weight: 5.3 grams
Condition: The box has some tears and surface wear commensurate with age. The agate studs are in good antique condition and ready to wear.
