Description

This late 1960s to early 1970s boucle wool suit by Solone Couture is the perfect pop of color and an extremely well made example of formal Paris couture fashions of the time. The suit top and matching skirt are made from a beautiful tweed that is woven from red, lilac, grey and sweet pea green mohair wool. Five green and gold buttons with a tiger head adornment close the suit. The suit is lined with an eye catching pea green lining that pokes through the middle closure, sleeve and hem that adds a layered look to the suit. The classic tweed pleated knee length skirt closes at the side with a zip closure. The lining of the skirt has some staining but this is invisible when worn, otherwise this set is in really great vintage condition. A best fit for up to sizes UK 10 or US 6.
