DescriptionColored Ink on paper. Original and signed work.
Size: 24x32 cm / Inch: 9.4x 12.59
This unique ink drawing is a combination of pen ink drawing and painting, which is typical for my art. It was inspired by a road trip to the UK I made this winter, leaving me with heaps of landscape ideas I wanted to try out in ink. The roadtrip did not leave time, nor the peace to draw anything, but I brought the shapes and lines in my head back to the studio. Then on paper, and with ink, a composition happens. This work is called "Living wall", from the walls series. (There are more works from this series in this shop) I am regularly fascinated by how rocks can be stacked, and how they are absorbed the landscape and taken over by plants. I love the patterns they involve. Needless to say the many walls in the UK were a great inspiration.
Please note the work will be shipped unframed, wrapped in a clear cellophane bag and in a flat hard board backed envelope to avoid bending. The unframed shipping allows you to follow your own personal framing taste (color, shape, mount yes or no etc..) plus: the transport weighs less on the environment like this. I did add some pictures to suggest how the work looks when framed so that you get an idea.
The ink I use dries waterproof and the producer guarantees a very high light fastness. However, I would recommend that you donu2019t place it catching direct sunlight to prevent fading over time. (for exhibitions, I always choose my frames to be UVproof acrylic glass, which can even be glare-, for an even better effect.)
Please be informed that being the artist, I reserve the right to use the design, or parts of it, for surface patterns or make prints/postcards. You will of course always be the owner of the original work!
If you have any questions feel to send me a message, I will be happy to help out.
