Third reincarnation trousers.

First life, cotton saris. Second life, kantha blankets are made from hand-stitched layers of worn sari. Third life, these trousers. Can you get any more sustainable?

Kantha is all hand stitched which adds strength to the layers of cotton. Women in Bengal typically use old saris and cloth and layer them with kantha stitching to make a blanket, throw, or bedspread. This has then been overdyed and block-printed with natural indigo dye.

Each design is different and due to the fabric being vintage, some show beautiful signs of age such as a patch or faiding.

The pants have two side pockets and one on the back. The waist is elasticated and has a drawstring.

This is size 1 or small. When fully stretched, the waistband measures 40" and when not stretched, 28"
