Antique 1843 Early Victorian Folk Art Boot Jack Hand Carved in Solid Oak Hand Carved Sun, Flower Folk Art Pattern, Dated 1843, European Boot Pull. This Antique Early Victorian Folk Art Boot Jack, Boot Pull is considered Victorian Folk Art. It has been hand carved from one solid piece of wood with two peg legs tapped in and has a hand carved Flower or Sun Pattern on the Boot Platform as well as Hand carved date of 1843. It is European however i am not sure of the exact country and is a much earlier primitive version of the Victorian Folding Boot Jacks more commonly found in Victorian Stately homes. A person would have hand carved this for their home or farm and it would have been used to remove riding boots.

The Condition of this Antique 1843 Victorian Folk Art Boot Jack Hand Carved in Solid Oak Hand Carved Sun, Flower Folk Art Pattern, Dated 1843, European Boot Pull is excellent and it will still function as originally intended. There is some wear in the wood stain due to use and wear as as some minor scratches and dents in the wood. There is also some minor chipping in the wood at the far point opposite the boot loop where the wood meets the ground. These are all minor in nature and are all consistent with the age and use of this particular.
