Mother carpet
Why the mother corral? Just because I was raised in her arms since I was a primary child. I always followed the rhythms of my mother's fingertips as she silently wrote her symbolic writings represented in this harmonious decorative element on carpets or robes.......
In my work, which took me 14 years of field research. From the search for the appropriate and abstract form behind which is a painting with a purely Amazigh cultural reference, whose aesthetics was derived from the attempt to mix and merge between the form of the weave and the decorative element represented in the symbol, and to work directly on the corral as a support and bearer for my artworks instead of canvas or another support.
My message is that I always seek in my works with a cultural load related to the Amazigh weaver to reveal this secret reading of the weaver, which is based on the consistency of symbols as decorative elements, these symbols attributed to animals, there are those who were called the lion man, including the ant and the ears of the clamp...... Some of them carry absolute names such as moron or informant..... Some of them have been named insects ..... These symbols remain devoid of reality and some symbols are difficult to understand at first sight. This is the secret in my works in order to bring the viewer and the recipient closer to the sensation and to understand each symbol separately.

artistic career intellectually and artistically r
u2010 Hassan el Houari is a complete artist, practicing sculpture, photography, painting and r
composite art inspired by popular signs and r
symbols. His style is characterized by his own r
character influenced by the form, and the characteristics of the popular heritage of the native village such as Amazigh weaving. r
The artist's vision: r
u2010 My vision was limited to the heritage of my r
village. The visual arts have been inspired by r
all its visual, kinetic, audio and sound dimensions, and my work has become complete r
with different materials my ideas are centered r
on geometric symbols and the shape of weaving while my photography is based on the r
cemetery theme of objects. My sculpture finds r
its roots in the Amazigh decorative motif named figures that make the carpet dance.
