These burl knife scales sets are Coolibah Burl on the left and Lace Sheoak Burl on the right.

Coolibah burl (Eucalyptus Intertexta) comes from far western New South Wales and measure 150 x 50 x 13 MM or 6" x 2" x 1/2"

Lace Sheoak Burl ( Allocasuarina ) grows in the south west corner of Western Australia and measures 144 x 47 x 14 MM or 5 5/8" x 1 3/4" x 9/16"

There is a photo of each ,dry and wet.

I cut the burl into blocks back in 2013 and then into knife scales in 2020 so they are considered dry.

They have since been stabilized in cactus juice and sanded to 120 grit. There maybe some inclusions, voids and cracks which is naturally occurring in burl wood.

There will be a colour information card included which will explain more about the wood and how the tree looks. ( image with photos)

What is in the photo is what you will receive and the price is for both sets.

I will post them to your door with a tracking number for .

Over many years I have collected blocks, slices, strips, squares and pen blanks of burl in various sizes, contact me for more information.

Also there will be other burl species of scales listed soon.
