Description

Up for sale is a vintage Olympus Trip AF 20 compact 35mm autofocus camera introduced by Olympus in 1995. Country of manufacture: Japan.
The Olympus Trip AF 20 was marketed as a "no-frills camera for vacationers" and best suited for sunny days.

Camera tested with film and batteries, all functions work well.
The camera is in excellent vintage condition with minor signs of use, see photos.

-The camera features a 31mm f/5.6 autofocus lens that is protected by a sliding "XA" style cover that also serves as a power switch when the lens is opened.
-The front panel of the case has a built-in flash with a flash fill and flash off button.
-Shutter speed (shutter speed) 1/125 s.
-The camera independently determines the ISO sensitivity of the film using the DX code; for films without a DX code, ISO 100 is set.
-Automatic rewinding and film advance.
-On the back cover there is a window through which you can see what kind of film you have installed, which is often useful.
-Powered by two AA batteries (not included)

Overall, the AF 20 fits very well in the hand. The movement of the lid from closed to open is easy and pleasant. The cover and overall design make this camera look like the Mju II on steroids. While it's still a "pocket camera," it certainly feels more substantial than most Olympus compacts.

What is included:
-camera Olympus TRIP AF 20
