Description

Munich Olympics coat - Fall 1972

The model is cut from a dual material of checked wool and red crylor.
The shape is long sleeves with buttoned cuffs. The collar is wide and the jacket closes on the front with a gold metallic button. The cut is trapezoid with two patch pockets placed slightly at an angle.
The interior is lined with navy blue quilted nylon. The label is sewn on the back: The Olympic Coat from Munich Sport Fashions Made in west Germany.
Presence of a customs seal near the buttonhole.

The presence of the seal as well as certain hand finishes (such as the inside of the pockets) probably indicate a presentation model or prototype. The models of this edition were made famous by the participation of Andru00e9 Courru00e8ges for the design.
