Description

Killer pair of Late 70s Chemin de Fer super rare 6-button stovepipe jeans!
These are the real deal, the other brand that high school girls couldn't get enough of.
If you are reading this you already know how hard it is to find genuine Chemin de Fer!!
And.....this is the coveted 'tuxedo style' with the exposed front button fly and the buckle back waist!
This pair is worn to perfection--soft, and nicely whiskered; with a nice high rise, and skinny legs perfect for boots There are no pockets, for a smooth booty-poppin' look. The backside also features a V-notch at the center back waist, the signature red CdF Locomotive tag, and a buckle detail just below the V-notch. Completing this rare vintage find are the 6 CdF loco logo antique copper 5/8" buttons to secure the front fly (typically only 5 buttons are used, and the top button is left open).
Not heavy like some of the other CdF jeans, these are a 100% medium weight cotton denim that you can wear year round.

Detailed Measurements~

Hips at bottom button: 34"
Max booty at crotch level: ~41"
Front rise: 12.25"
Rear rise: 14.5" (to top of waistband)
Thigh @ 1" below crotch:22"
Knee: 19"
Ankle: 18" (~9" flat)

Vintage denim= no stretch!
These are a tagged 29XL (tag is very faded-possibly is 28XL) strictly for reference. I would say a modern 2, maybe a 4 for best fit, but check the measurements above, which are of the actual garment--not your body. Compare to your own measurements and evaluate how loose or tight you want these to fit. Note that the opening of the pants is only 34" max with all the buttons undone, so I would not recommend if your booty is more than 36" otherwise you will really have to squeeze to get all the way into them.

These are in nicely worn vintage condition, very clean, with overall patina fading. All stitching appears original and is nice and strong. None of the buttons are loose.
No way I could get into this pair, so photos 9 and 10 are modeling a similar but larger pair from my personal collection. Photos 1-8 are of the actual jeans for sale.

These and the 10-button sailors are the holy grail of classic Chemin de Fer jeans, don't pass up your chance to own them and be the rave!
