Description

Dosimeter ID-1 was a dosimeter produced for the military.
Radiometer ID-1 indicates amount of radioactivity absorbed by the body. Each soldier was equipped in this device in case of nuclear conflict. ID-1 was worn attached to pocket or belt by means of the retaining clip. A scale has range of 0-500 Rad.
The dosimeter ID-1 allow one to estimate absorbed dose (Rads) of gamma radiation up to 500 Rad.
Dosimeters are useful for estimating your absorbed radiation dose in a radioactive environment. For example, after a nuclear accident a dosimeter allows you to determine (roughly) the amount of radiation absorbed. These ID-1 dosimeters measure radiation in Rads, which is the absorbed dose. The equivalent dose (Rem) is equal to the Rads for gamma radiation, which is what this unit measures. Rem dose helps us determine radiation effects on the body.
The modern unit for radiation is the Gray (Gy) for absorbed dose and the Sievert (Sv) for equivalent dose. Conveniently, 1 Gy is equivalent to 100 Rad and 1 Sv is equivalent to 100 Rem. So these dosimeters measure from 0 to 500 Rad (0 to 5 Gy).
The ID-1 dosimeter is designed to monitor the accumulated dose of radiation that an individual soldier has been exposed to. Like all dosimeters, the ID-1 is a simple electrometer. Inside the device there are two electrodes which are d by means of an external electrical source. Both of the electrodes within the device have the same and repel each other. The on the electrodes is neutralized when ionizing radiation passes between the electrodes and the casing. This reduction in the causes an electrode to move away from its start point, this movement can be seen against a scale when the user looks through the device.
It's based on ionizing chamber that changes radioactivity radiation to an electric current, current diss a capacitor that is also used as a power source. The device measures dis of a capacitor over time. This is done by using a wire that accordingly changes its position and optic unit to make those results available for the operator.

Attention! Important information.
Dear customer, we thank you for your interest in our products!
Please, pay you attention to the following.
We know that many countries have customs duties.
Therefore, whenever we send packages to our customers, we ALWAYS use the following algorithm:
1. We ALWAYS attach to our goods a customs declaration in which the cost of the goods/parcel DOES NOT EXCEED $ 20!
Therefore, if you buy any product in our shop with a value exceeding $ 20 (or you buy several goods with a total purchase price of more than $ 20), you should know that WE ALWAYS REDUCE THE CUSTOMS VALUE OF THE GOODS and indicate the cost of the goods/parcel in the customs declaration always NO MORE THAN $ 20.
2. We ALWAYS put a "GIFT" mark on our parcels in customs documents.
3. If the real value of the goods exceeds the price of $ 20, then WE NEVER ATTACH AN INVOICE to our goods/parcels INDICATING THE REAL VALUE OF THE GOODS. We attach to our parcels customs documents in which the value of the goods is indicated as EQUAL TO $ 20.
If any other laws apply in your country, please let us know. We will indicate in the accompanying customs documentation any value of the goods (even $ 10, if necessary), we will also indicate in the customs documentation any description of the goods that you tell us.
4. We always SHIP our packages WITH TRACKER NUMBER.
Therefore, you can track your purchase at any point along the route from our store to your home!
5. In each of our parcels we put a small gift for our customer.
This gift is a discount card for a trip to the Chernobyl exclusion zone. Therefore, if you want to visit the Chernobyl exclusion zone, write to us about it! We are happy to organize for you a magnificent and unforgettable tour to Chernobyl and Pripyat.

Buying goods in our store -- you can be calm.
You do not have to pay additional or customs duties when you receive the goods in your country and you can always track the location of your package.

Have a nice shopping!
