Here is a rare Steiff black poodle hand puppet dog, produced from 1955 to 1965.
Steiff hand puppet black poodle has its old silver Steiff script button in the left ear as a Steiff identification mark left. The yellow label and chest tag are lost in time.
The original salmon red silk bow is original, if somewhat frayed at the ends.
Old Steiff hand puppet poodle is made of black mohair with glass eyes, black glass nose, and red felt tongue.
Old hand poodles head is firmly stuffed with excelsior (wood Wool) and the sheath for the puppet playeru2019s finger that sat in there would have been made of cardboard, but it is missing.

Steiff hand puppet black poodle measures 17 cm / 6 u00be inches ? glove only (fits to every average sized adult hand) and 22 cm / 8 u00be inches with head.
