Here is an exceedingly rare vintage Steiff hand puppet puppy dog named Molly, produced from 1950 to 1962 only.
Steiff hand puppet Molly dog puppy is made of brown tipped and white mohair with huge glass eyes and embroidered nose and claws. Molly here is a highly collectible vintage Steiff glove puppet. Old hand puppet Mollyu2019s head is firmly stuffed with excelsior (wood Wool) and the sheath for the puppet playeru2019s finger is made of cardboard.
Steiff Hand Molly measures 17 cm / 6 u00be inches ? glove only (fits to every average sized adult hand) and 22 cm / 8 u00be inches with head.
The glass eyes have some very slight scratches. Apart from that this cute old soulful looking Steiff dog is in excellent vintage condition as you can see in the photographs. The satin bow was added by me.
