( Postage Worldwide) - Unusual 1950's barometer from Japanese manufacturers OTA. The Ota Keiki Seisakusho Co (seisakusho means factory) was founded in 1943 in Tokyo as a manufacturer of meteorological equipment. This classic piece of heraldry incorporates a chrome plated helmet and visor, together with a sword and axe. The barometer appears to be working well, measuring air pressure in both Millibars (mbar) and Inches (InHg).

The barometer is in good general condition, but obviously has signs of it's 60/70 years of age. The chromed metal is worn in places, as is small areas of the red panels. The black is made of tougher stuff and no marks. The glass has a small crack, the bezel is in as expected condition too.

The approximate size as: 7" (18cm) height x 4.5" (11cm) width x 1.5" (3cm)

A wonderfully unusual scientific instrument for the wall, would look amazing in the right setting! Any questions, please ask
