Description

Beautiful Colonial Indian or Burmese belt buckle, the thick coin-silver body cast & incised with a four-armed female deity, possibly Lakshmi. Set in openwork foliate scrollwork with a fluted border band in the form of two coiling cobra snakes.

Dating to 1880's.

XRF tested for 900 silver.
