Description

Pretty sure I have had this suit in our collection since the 90's when we still lived in Buffalo. It is in remarkable condition, and I just had it dry cleaned, but the cleaners pointed out to me that there are three spots on the back shoulder that have little tears, 2 small and one larger ( see close up to follow) that looks like I brushed against a thorny tree or had a cat on my shoulder! These will need some invisible mending...not the end of the world. NO OTHER FLAWS! There is another 1.5 inches you could let out in the waist, if you need, and the pants can be lengthened 2 inches or you could add a cuff. Lining is in mint condition, pockets are all good. Half lining in the back. Two inside pockets. Jacket has side vents.

All original buttons, no wear on collar or cuffs, no fade. Stored in the dark. Fabric is a medium weight wool for spring or fall, and a label in the inside says "Hand Tailored". The inside cotton waistband and pockets looks somewhat discolored in places, ...not sure why, but the fabric is sturdy. I guess besides the condition, the best part is the color...a great dark 1950s Turquoise or teal. Not quite a sharkskin, but reminds me of those, with a slight sheen. Normally I price a suit of this color and caliber at about $400, but because of the mending on the back shoulder, I am marking it down to $300, pre sale prices. Go by measurements. Shipping is included, but only if you live in the lower 48 states. I ship everywhere, but other locations may have to chip in a few more dollars for extra postage.
