Description

This fish toy is made using only 100% certified organic and fair trade cotton fabric and eco-friendly stuffing.

There are two 100% biodegradable and sustainable stuffing materials for you to choose from:
1. KAPOK: completely natural fiber that comes from the ceiba tree in tropical climates. It is grown sustainably without pesticides and toxins, making it a great healthy choice and vegan alternative to wool and down feather. Being a completely natural material, kapok is not as spongy and springy as polyester stuffing. There is a soft, yet compact quality to it.
2. TENCELu2122 made in Austria (EU): tencel lyocell fibers are made from wood pulp and are manufactured using an environmentally responsible production process. They are certified as compostable and biodegradable, and thus can fully revert back to nature. The fish stuffed with tencel is in comparison to kapok a bit springier.

You can also choose between different colors:
- yellow
- purple
- blue
- blue/red (blue with red fins)
- red/green (red with green fins)

OTHER CHARACTERISTICS:
* measures: 21cm or 8 inches long and 13 cm or 5 inches tall;
* the buttons (eyes) are wooden;
* non-corduroy fabric is also handwoven (in addition to being organic and fair trade)

CERTIFICATES: FLO (Fairtrade International certificate). All the fabrics used are prewashed with certified organic fragrance- laundry detergent.

CARE: The fish can be occasionally hand-washed: fill a sink or basin with lukewarm water, submerge the toy in the water and gently stroke (without pressing) its surface, don't squeeze the water out, but dry flat and thoroughly in the sun or close to other heating sources.

ABOUT MIASLI
Each choice we make is more than just a choice. It is a statement of our values and aspirations, of what we wish for ourselves and for the Other, be it human, animal or nature. For this reason, Miasli toys are made from carefully selected natural materials that we believe are the best, and in line with our values of fairness, sustainability and beauty. Instead of polyfill synthetic fiber and wool, we choose to stuff our toys with kapok, tencel and grain hulls. Instead of conventional fabric, we prefer to use only certified organic and fair trade cotton. Crafting such toys, one at a time, step by step, is a wonderful thing to do. We have the joy of knowing that what is being handed over to the children is not only a toy that nourishes their senses and connects them to the world of nature, but also a vision of a world in which the welfare of all living beings matters alike.
