What you need to know about tinting and heating natural stones.
Heating treatment is one of the oldest treatments. It allows you to improve or modify the appearance of a stone in multiple ways. We heat a stone to improve its color, lighten or intensify it and sometimes even change it. We also heat a stone to remove its inclusions (which melt) and thus reduce their presence which harms the purity of the stone. Finally, you can also heat a stone to dye it. The treatment of a stone by heating is extremely stable.
