Description

Here comes a rare vintage Steiff sitting Collie or Border Collie with no IDs left. These dogs are famous for being the most intelligent dog bread and excellent sheep dogs.
Our old Steiff Collie here looks the part ? it measures 22 cm / 8 u00be inches tall sitting and was produced from 1966 to 1969 in this last ever edition with plastic eyes (edition 1960 to 1963 would have glass eyes, and 1964/65 this model was not in production).
The dog has an open moth with red felt tongue, and excellent full long hair brown
-black-white mohair, look at that mane! The nose and claw stitches are all present. Steiff Colly is firmly stuffed with wood wool (excelsior).
The squeaker in the old dogu2019s belly is mute.

This magnificent vintage Steiff Collie is in excellent condition as you can see in the photographs and would certainly love to herd your Steiff sheep!
