Description

I made this frame in my home wood working shop here in Maine, from bubble figure maple wood I had sawn and kiln dried, then hand picked pieces of wood to make this beautiful frame. I used dye to bring out the natural beauty of this frame. The wood I use in this frame is about 1" thick and about 2" wide. This is a naturally beautiful frame with the unique grain and curl in the wood. I used a router bit on this frame to give it a professional edge.

I use clamping pressure when gluing the frames and also use v nails for added long lasting strength. This frame is heirloom quality and will last a long time. I use 1 coat dye and 3 coats of poly for a satin finish that requires only regular dusting or furniture cleaner for maintenance.

This frame will hold a 16 X 20 piece of mirror glass, art or photo and or matte. The buyer will need to matte their art and buy glass if needed from a local glass cutter. The buyer will need to use fasteners of their own to keep their art in as we have no way of knowing how thick the buyers art will be. Some people choose to use small finish nails when inserting art.

I can put a Saw tooth hanger on the back of the frame or enclose it in shipping, if you choose it in the drop down choice by the price at time of purchase. Otherwise none will be enclosed.

***IF I PUT A HANGER ON THE FRAME IT IS NOT ABLE***

Thank you for shopping and be sure to look at the other frames and items we are selling in our shop! I add things often so please come back.
