Description

Beautiful set of mid-sized 70s stoneware table lamps designed by Einar Johansen and manufactured by Danish Soholm. The lights have stunning brown decor all around and a grey base glazing. Both lamps are stamped underneath. They are in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or crazings. The electrical parts have signs of age.

The price is for the set. SHIPPING is included.

Please note that these lights are handmade and there will be slight variations in decor and the color of glazing (please see photos).

ORIGINAL or FULLY RESTORED:
The lights can be bought in their original condition or fully restored with new sockets, wires, and plugs (US and European available). If you wish to have them restored, I will provide you with the needed information either before or after purchase. Please don't hesitate to reach out. If you want to purchase them in their original condition I will enclose a mounting screw that will enable you to attach a socket to the light that comes without socket.

ABOUT SOHOLM:
Soholm (established in 1835) was one of the leading stoneware workshops on the small Danish island of Bornholm. For almost 200 years, they provided Danes and international stoneware lovers with beautiful handcrafted interior items. Although the workshop no longer exists, the legacy of Soholm lives on. Einar Johansen's experiments with different glazes and outstanding shapes during the 60s have taken me by storm.
