Description

This antique Art Deco lacquer box was made in Paris around 1920. The box is in the shape of a fan. It is hand-painted in Japanese/Chinese style. With birds, leaves and flowers. Two leaves are inlaid with mother of pearl. The gold paint gives a nice shine.
