-Genuine pottery, tile and ceramic pieces sourced from the shores of Scotland, from Dumfries to Ayr, all the way to Oban and further into the Highlands & Islands such as Orkney and Tiree. For anyone who has a special connection to Scotland then these would make the perfect gift for their collection.
-These pieces may be from Victorian times and older! Collecting pottery pieces from the coast has long been a tradition in the UK. Spongeware, transferware and hand-painted pieces. Your order will be a surprise mixture!
-For arts, crafters and jewelry makers looking to add something special to their projects. We have previously created necklaces, rings and earrings from pottery of this size. Perfect for mosaic making, coastal projects and collecting.
-Available in 100g, 200g, 300g or 400g. Please note that pottery is quite weighty and so check the pictures provided to show what each weight will roughly look like. Do bear this in mind for larger projects. Unless specified in your order, we will endeavour to include a mixture of size and colour. Pieces have been rinsed but not yet scrubbed or oiled, they have been left in their original raw condition.
-The pottery is a mixed size & colour job lot. Pictures provided are a guide and each order will vary.
-Coastal pottery holds a special meaning to many, it comes from the earth, created in fire and air and shaped and smoothed by the waves. The colour and shape of the pieces vary, having been shaped over many years by the Scottish Waters. Each will have spent a long time under both the Sun and Moon.
