Description

Here comes vintage Steiff bunny rabbit in begging position with IDs, 20 cm / 8 inches tall to the tip of its ears. Old Steiff rabbit lost all its IDs, but the slits where the old Steiff silver script button once sat in its left ear (ear inside is made of felt) are still visible.
Begging Steiff rabbit hatched between 1949 and 1960 and has beautiful glass eyes, all whiskers, and a pale pink stitched nose, all original. The satin bow was added by me.

Vintage 1950s bunny rabbit is made of brown and beige hand shaded mohair (all present but not fluffy anymore) and has a swivel head. Old rabbit is firmly stuffed with wood wool (excelsior). On this model, claws are not stitched, but painted. All in all, this old Steiff rabbit is in very good vintage condition!
This model is very similar to Steiff Manny rabbit, but it has a closed mouth and stands slightly more upright.

Vintage Steiff rabbit would be rare and famous addition to your vintage toy collection or Steiff collection and makes a fine Easter gift or decoration to any Steiff collector and /or toy lover! Just imagine him sitting next to your darling doll!
